Having grown up in a busy riding school Brian Bloomer got to experience first hand the challenges of running an equestrian business. There’s always so much to be done with the horses from mucking out stables, turning out, exercising, teaching lessons, training future instructors and ensuring bookings are coming in for lesssons to keep the business profitable.

In many cases these businesses are either one-man (or more commonly one-woman) shows with the owner/manager looking after all aspects of the business on a daily basis. It’s 24/7 365 and there’s not a lot of time left to shop around and negotiate for the best possible rates for products and services needed for the business.

He believed that an Equestrian Business buying group could help with this and get equestrian centres to work together and collaborate to the benefit of the whole community. Work started on the platform in Summer 2023 and we are having our initial launch in Ireland in May 2024.

The platform will continue to grow and develop based on the feedback and needs of the equestrian business community. We want a long term sustainable and profitable collaboration with our members and suppliers.
